Our CYWs provide one-to-one support for children and youth experiencing behavioural, emotional, psychological, or developmental challenges. They work in homes, schools, hospitals, community programs, and youth justice settings.
Support Provided
- Crisis intervention for high-risk youth
- Behavioural support in classrooms
- Assistance with academic decline or social withdrawal
- Support for anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders
- Intervention for aggressive or violent behaviours
- Substance use support
- Support for self-harm or suicidal ideation
- Creating behaviour programs and structured routines
Youth Justice Support (Ages 12–17)
- Reintegration after custody
- Support with school or work
- Assistance during evenings, weekends, and high-risk times
- Peer pressure and relationship coaching
- Support during family tension or conflict
- Help accessing drug/alcohol treatment
- Transitioning to foster or community homes
Transitional Aged Youth (16–24)
- Mentorship for semi-independent or independent living
- Support with life skills and structure
CYWs collaborate with families, probation officers, schools, and treatment providers to ensure stability and progress.
