Johnson Staffing Solutions Residential Resource is available for children, adolescents and adults requiring respite care, or temporary specialized support, due to behavioural difficulties. The Residential Resource is ideal for individuals with complex behaviours. Our focus is on individualized programming, building experiences and preparing individuals for their next steps. Residential Resource is available for flexible, short-term stays, based on individual needs.

Support Services
Johnson Staffing Solutions provides behavioural support services to organizations that provide services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors who are experiencing behavioural, social, emotional and psychiatric challenges. Services are provided in a wide range of community and institutional settings throughout the Maritime provinces.
Hospital and Healthcare — Support to individuals on any hospital unit as well as pre- and post-hospitalization.
Social Services — Support to community service agencies for their clients.
Education — Support to public and private schools for their students.
Criminal Justice — Support to individuals in the youth justice and adult criminal justice systems.
Family Support Services
Johnson Staffing Solutions provides support for family members who are exhibiting moderate to severe behavioural difficulties due to social, emotional, psychological, and developmental challenges. Our services are provided in the person’s home or community — school, work, hospital, social service agency, or treatment program.
Child and Adolescent
We provide support for children and adolescents who are exhibiting challenging behaviour due to developmental, mental health or familiar difficulties.
Transitional Aged Youth
We provide mentor services to vulnerable youth who are in a transition to semi-independent living or independent living between childhood and adulthood.
Adult
We provide services for adults who are experiencing behavioural challenges due to developmental, mental health, and/or substance abuse problems.

Johnson Staffing Solutions provides support for family members of all ages, who are exhibiting moderate to severe behavioural difficulties; for individuals who may also be experiencing social, emotional and psychiatric difficulties, and for individuals who are developmentally challenged. We are focused on supporting families and the individual by addressing and stabilizing difficult or unusual behaviours.
These services are available to families on an ongoing basis.
We at Johnson Staffing Solutions develop and implement programs that reinforce acceptable and productive behaviours. We assist family members in making appropriate plans and accessing services. We also provide respite services — planned and supportive breaks for families, that are provided in the family home.
Children and Adolescent support available for full time part time and respite support
One-to-one support for children and adolescents who are exhibiting unusual behaviours and/or are experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and eating disorder, among others.
When there is a concern that a child or an adolescent is:
• displaying aggressive/violent behaviours
• overly withdrawn or has difficulty with establishing/maintaining social relationships
• experiencing marked decrease in academic performance
• hurting themselves, such as cutting, or has suicidal thoughts/ideation
• stealing
• experiencing severe mood swings
• experiencing self-care difficulties
• having issues with substance abuse
Services are offered in the family home, hospital, at school, or anywhere in the community, and often during transitions in a child’s or an adolescent on an ongoing basis.
Family home: develop and implement programs that reinforce acceptable and productive behaviours.
Hospital: support is provided to assist with behavioural needs during hospitalization and upon discharge.
Parent Help: for parents and guardians struggling to determine the best way to respond to their child’s special and unique needs. We offer coaching support that focuses on the present, the challenges and possible solutions.
Elementary school: support is available to assist with behavioural issues, skill development, and learning-appropriate behaviours, as well as to provide support and encouragement.
Youth Justice System: we work with families are involved with the youth justice system.
Adult Support
Flexible support when problematic behaviours arise
We offer one-to-one support for adults who are developmentally challenged and are experiencing any of the following:
• Exhibiting unusual behaviours (i.e. aggressive violent or withdrawn)
• Severe mood swings
• Poor social relationships
• Attention deficit and/or hyperactivity, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders and self-care difficulties
Services are offered in the family home, hospital, workplace or anywhere in the community.
Family home:
• Behaviour Programming – develop and implement programs that re-enforce acceptable and productive behaviours.
• Respite Services – planned and supportive breaks for families provided in the family home.
Hospital: Support is provided to assist with behavioural needs during hospitalization and upon discharge.
Working Environment: For adults with special needs, services are available to assist in skill development, learning appropriate work behaviours, and to provide support and encouragement.
Our Staff develop a positive relationship with the adult and their family, supporting the move from problematic behaviours to those that are socially acceptable and productive.
