DEVELOPMENTAL WORKER (DSW)

Our Developmental Workers support children, youth, adults, and seniors with developmental disabilities and complex behavioural needs. They work in homes, schools, workplaces, hospitals, and community programs to promote growth, independence, and emotional stability.

Support Includes

  1. Behaviour management planning
  2. One-to-one support for unusual or aggressive behaviours
  3. Social and emotional skill development
  4. Support for individuals with ADHD, ASD, intellectual disabilities
  5. Assistance with self-care, routines, and daily living skills
  6. Support during mood swings, anxiety, depression, or emotional dysregulation
  7. Collaborative support with families, schools, and treatment teams

Workplace & Community Support

DSWs help individuals learn appropriate work behaviours, build community connections, and participate meaningfully in daily activities.

Hospital-Based Support

We assist individuals experiencing behavioural challenges during hospitalization and provide support after discharge.
